Schneider Fabrication MFG. of Captain’s Choice Docks & Boat Lifts was founded by Gary Schneider in 1988 as a part-time welding repair venture in Fowler, MI and has grown exponentially over the years.
Initially operating out of a pole barn at his home while working a full-time job, the business expanded rapidly, leading to its incorporation as Schneider Fabrication, Inc. in 2007. Still family-owned and operated, the company relocated to its new manufacturing facility in St. Johns, MI, in the same year.
Specializing in identifying weaknesses in competitors’ products, Schneider Fabrication, Inc. focuses on producing high-quality, affordable solutions that cater to the diverse needs of every customer.
Notable products include the Captains Choice Rolling and Stationary Docks and Captains Choice Hydraulic Lifts. Additionally, the company excels in repairing storm, flood, or ice damage to docks or lifts, regardless of the manufacturer, and accepts insurance work.
